Engagement party!

Last Friday my sister, Nolen threw Ken and I an engagement party! She is so sweet and it turned out awesome! We had tons of fun. :)

We made Sangria! I had no idea it was so easy and it turned out super yummy!

My sister made raspberry tiramisu from scratch! Sooooo good.

Here I am posing, trying to be cute. :)

Ken and I.

Nolen made little replicas of the cards Ken used to propose and put them on these little bulbs with gerber daises. So cute.

My mom was clearly very excited.

Different angle of the table with all the cards on it.

More posing, lol.

Really cool idea Nolen found online... You put pictures into glass jars of vegetable oil and it preserves them! Add some decoration and look how cute they turned out! They're now on our mantel. :)

My favorite of the jars and some adorable red velvet brownies Nolen made.

The party favors for the guests. Jelly beans!

Nolen had asked me to pick out 20-30 of my favorite pictures of Ken and I. That was really hard considering I have close to 2,000 (seriously, they're numbered and organized chronologically, lmao). Then she sent out these cute little cards to have friends and family write little well wishes for us. She hung them all up on this clothesline in the backyard. It turned out so cute!

Here's a couple of the cards, though we had a bunch and I loved them ALL!

My brother, Anthony and his awesome, amazing girlfriend, Missy.

My brothers, Anthony and Sammy and my Nani (grandmother).

Three generations! My mom, Nani and I.

We all look very disgruntled, lol. I was probably complaining about how much my feet hurt. Those shoes were adorable but KILLLLLLLED.
(side note, it's been almost a week since the party and a few of my toes are STILL numb, no joke)

Nolen and I.

My stepdad cooking some yummy kabobs.

The boys watching basketball.

Clearly, this annoys me. Really? TURN IT OFF.

Roxy the rockstar looking for handouts. She probably got more kabobs then I did!

My mom, Ken's mom and Ken's cousin, Amanda looking at the clothesline.

The moms!

Everyone chatting outside.

My stepdad's cousin, Lisa and I. She is the SWEETEST PERSON in the world. I love her.

I was excited about my kabob. But if you really know me, this is my normal reaction to food, lol.

Yeah, I don't know. Missy told me to make a face and I did it, lol.

Uncle Mike, Aunt Colleen and I.

Really guys? More basketball? Honestly, they probably never even left the couch.

Cousins! Chelsea, Taylor and Taylor's fiancee, Robbie.

My cousin, Chelsea, my new two teeny cousins and I. ;)

Ken and my mom.

Too many lights, lol.

Ken pouring wine for a toast.

Interesting face I'm making, lol. Ken's is even better.

I was pulling up my damn dress all night, lol.

I clearly don't like being the center of attention.

Herpderp.

Yes, hahahaha, let's all laugh at my triple chin, hahahaha.

And now hold this pose for half an hour when everyone takes pictures.

Us and the parents.

Boys in Ken's family.

Most of the party, minus photographer Missy and a few people who had to leave early. We all look like demons, lmao.

Ken and I in cartoon form, courtesy of Missy. I'm hotter as a cartoon! ;) And I love Ken's little fauxhawk, lol.

And the end of the night. We're pooped!

We had such a blast and my sister is so awesome for doing it for us! Now the wedding planning begins, lol. Gaaahhhhhhhhh.
